Is Intellicapital Advisors a fiduciary?

Yes. As an SEC-registered investment adviser, Intellicapital Advisors, LLC owes a fiduciary duty under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, encompassing a duty of care and a duty of loyalty.

What are Intellicapital's fees?

Intellicapital is fee-only. Advisory fees are charged annually as a percentage of assets under management, billed quarterly in advance, on a blended (breakpoint) basis: 1.12% on the first $1,000,000; 0.97% on $1,000,001–$2,000,000; 0.85% on $2,000,001–$3,000,000; 0.69% on $3,000,001–$5,000,000; and 0.62% on $5,000,001 and above. Third-party platform fees from Adhesion Wealth (~0.12%), AssetMark (~0.25%–0.30%), and Pontera (0.25%) are in addition to the IAL fee.

What does fee-only mean?

Fee-only means the firm's compensation is derived solely from advisory fees paid by clients. Intellicapital does not accept commissions, sales charges, 12b-1 fees, revenue sharing, or product-based compensation.

What is the account minimum?

The account minimum is $250,000 in investable assets, waivable at the firm's discretion. Intellicapital's target market is households with $1M to $30M in investable assets.

Does Intellicapital provide tax planning?

Yes. Intellicapital provides tax planning and coordination as part of its wealth coordination services, coordinated with the client's CPA or Beachside Tax Services. Intellicapital does not prepare tax returns but offers an annual tax preparation reimbursement (up to $400 under $1M AUM, up to $825 at $1M and above).

Does Intellicapital coordinate estate planning?

Yes. Estate planning coordination is provided through Wealth.com, in collaboration with the client's attorney. Intellicapital does not provide legal advice and does not draft legal documents.

Where are client assets held?

Client assets are held at an independent qualified custodian: Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. Intellicapital does not take custody of client funds.
